WHAT IS REIKI?
Around the body, there are seven layers of energy field called Aura. In the innermost layer, called inner Aura, are located seven major chakras. These chakras are energy centers. Each chakra is associated with an endocrine gland and governs the functioning of the endocrine glands and the organs associated with it. The energy is not the practitioners energy but cosmic energy which flows through the hands is required to cure and not what the therapist decides is necessary. In disease, the chakras malfunction leading to imbalance in functioning of the associated organs and the endocrine gland. Depending on the affected chakra, patients reveal clinical symptoms. The Reiki healer beams the universal energy into chakra after scanning the same with his hand. The healing energy enters into the chakras, restoring the lost balance,thus healing the affected organ.
